The main inspiration for my A-level photography was Tim Walker. He is most known for his magical, whimsical and exquisite fashion photography.
The image that captured me the most was 'Mr James's Daydream'.

I found his photography to be break-taking and otherworldly and wanted to re-create his style in my own photography project. My first ever personal set was taken in inspiration of 'Mr James's Daydream.' I shot the photographs on a Canon 450D, which my brother lent me and at the time I didn't have a tripod, so I used a collection of items to get the perfect shots. (The camera was lent against a pile of books to sit portrait and everything was piled onto my mum's ironing board to get the perfect height for the shot.)
Here are some of the images I managed to get:

Considering the set-up, the photos came out very well. I took my own approach to the inspiration, by also incorporating coloured lighting to get a variety of shots and using my own hands to create framing to my face.
The first image shown on the collage ended up being the image on the cover of the magazine I made for my final piece in A-level photography. Even though this was my first set and my photographs improved throughout the course, these are my favourite photographs I took whilst studying photography.
